Apologies for anyone who has had troubles getting on the blog in the last 24 hours. I applied the latest update of Wordpress (2.8.1) to the site last night and it went spectacularly wrong and made the site die.
This is the first time I have applied a Wordpress update only for it to go wrong. Wordpress is a great bit of kit and the issues that I experienced are more of a pain in the backside for visitors who were looking to read my latest post after it was posted on Twitter and Facebook.
So apologies for anyone that has had troubles on the site in the last few hours. I have had to revert the Blog to version 2.7.1 until such a time when Wordpress offer a version of the blog software that is stable.
The thing is with Wordpress is that it is free of charge and you can’t really moan too much when it has the odd problem, so I welcome back 2.7.1 with affection like an old pair of favourite shoes you knew you should never of got rid of.

1Wordpress is a program that has some drawbacks. But it also has its advantages. Compared with other similar programs, this is the most suitable option.

2It happens sometimes with the site that they actualy die for no such identified reason.But you cannot help it, but always make sure while updating your site regularly you are also updating the backup of it regularly, in the worst case you may require it.Ya as they always say old is gold…. in this case for a time being we can apply this proverb!!!

3I think you should stick with 2.7.1 rather than changing to the newer version since this version works well.
