Whilst on holiday I was not happy when I woke up finding a number of ants congregating on the pine drawer unit next to the bed. There were a fair few of them scampering about and certainly enough to make me hesitate on continuing a sneaky snooze. To be fair I am not the sort of person that can leave ants just a few inches from my head. I have visions of the ants jumping the 12 inches from the drawer unit to my pillow and infiltrating my head via an open ear. Nope, the little blighters had to be got rid of.
This was indeed a question that required a quick answer. Yes I could of bashed the living daylights out of them, but like I said, there were a fair few of them. So what was the answer? I had a good look around the room but could not see anything obvious. On second glance something caught my attention – A brand new bottle of Hugo XY. The brain went into a wee bit of overtime, surely my lady killing aftershave would not be ready made ant killer?
It started with a test run – hmm, the ants were not liking it, in fact it looked as though it was instant paralysis and then death as there purposeful bodies struggled to cope with the ingredients contained within one of Hugo Boss’s fiest male fragrances. Perhaps not the best way to go, but hey it was them or me, and seeing as I am already half-way there with the paralysis I thought what the heck!

Once the test run was overI continued to launch a full aerial assualt on the little blighters. The result was simply stunning, not only were all ants taken out, the little blighters have not dared to make a return after such a mauling.
And there you have it – if you want to rid household of ants – get hold of a bottle of Hugo XY and spray like you are a firefighter putting out a forest fire, you’ll be amazed at the results, of which you can see mine below (sorry for poor quality, I was having a bad day with the camera):

1You should try and water it down and see if it works, if it proves successful, bottle it under your own brand “Antcrippler” and flog it

2That is not bad bad idea Scroobs, I will look at the ingredients in order to see if I can recreate. If it works without the expensive smell then I could be on a winner.
